Post-2000 Building Industry in Kabul City from Sustainability Perspective

Buildings are one of the major consumers energy and producers greenhouse gases globally. Reducing consumption gas emissions from buildings helps decrease global warming enhances natural environment. This can only happen by transitioning traditional to sustainable architecture urban planning. For decades, planning have been applied in many countries’ building sectors, but others among poor least developed countries left behind. Kabul, capital countries, Afghanistan, has experienced a remarkable growth rate population since 2001. rapid uncontrolled construction caused problems different perspectives, especially sustainability perspective. In this paper, current state industry Kabul is evaluated perspective, those constructed after year 2000. assessment see how each type is. Analysis collected data clarifies that buildings’ level city significantly low. Based on results, recommendations provide better future for ensure existing sufficiently protect environment globe.
